And i liked it a lot, but walter called the picture three hours and 10 minutes past high noon. [laughter] in 1969, i wrote my first book that wasnt a western called the big bounce. My agent in hollywood at the time to read, called and said kidd, im going to make you rich. He saw the big bounce as a quick movie sale. Send it out to producers over the next few months and got 84 rejections. I did top that record. I got 105 rejections for another story that offered hitchcock bought, but then died on [laughter] but the book did so, and, and twice was adapted for the screen. Two weeks from today they will be driving straight where im standing on to the new bridge, and caltrans officials invite ode us up on to the bridge today to show us what they have left to do. They also want this to serve as a reminder for everyone that a closure is comping, and thats when the new bridge after that the new bridge will open. Coming out of the toll plaza is where one of the biggest jobs will take place. They have 0 grind a new path for drivers. One of the many chores left to do and i asked the staff about the mood of the staff. I would say theres energy but everyone is very confident this work is go to be getting done. This is important, critical work, to connect the bridge. But we have done much more complicated work during past closures. Reporter heres a list of what is left to do. Little part of me dies. How proud i am. Speaking of the peeps, the Washington Post is doing a peeps diorama contest. They got 700 entries and narrowed it down to five finalists. You put peeps in some kind of a scenario or situation where they wouldnt normally be, which is in a drugstore. Okay. This is the one we like. It is titled everyone peeps. Ever seen the book . The childrens book, everyone poops. This is everyone peeps created by kate homen and took her seven hours to complete it. You see the peeps on the pot and below them is the fluff. That is hysterical. That is so very cute. Very funny. Here is the question, is it okay to lie about your age . There is a great veep episode you should look up, if you are on hbo. When she has to wear a hat and take it off and do a news conference. It is like the funniest episode. Shes unbelievable. She is comic genius. Is it okay to lie about your age .
