Oriana Poindexter is a marine scientist, artist, and curator for "Ebb and Flow: Giant Kelp Forests through Art, Science and the Archives" at UC San Diego through April 21. The contemporary artwork explores the evolution of these kelp forests and their relationship to the shoreline.
