At an age usually associated with winding down, 84-year-old artist Elizabeth Vels has mounted an exhibition of thousands of her works spanning 57 years of creativity. Vels, who has strong historical ties with the Eastern Cape, has dismantled her vast store of multimedia works dating back to 1965 and hung them at the prestigious 6 Spin Street Gallery in Cape Town.
