The Red Cross has opened an emergency shelter for Pipeline Fire evacuees at Sinagua Middle School, 3950 E. Butler Ave. Household animals may be taken to the Coconino Humane Association, livestock to the Ft. Tuthill stables.
Firefighters are battling the Pipeline Fire north of Flagstaff. The fire sparked about six miles north of Flagstaff, just west of Schultz Pass, and has spread to over 1,000 acres.
Officials ordered Go evacuation orders for the Timberline area south of Brandis Way Sunday afternoon because of the Pipeline Fire along with areas of the San Francisco Peaks and Arizona Snowbowl. Several other areas are in Set status.
