Free Comic Book Day 2021 Gold Sponsor Comic Books Announced!

The Free Comic Book Day (FCBD) Committee has selected the twelve Gold Sponsor comic book titles for the comic book industry s most anticipated annual event:
Free Comic Book Day. FCBD will once again be a single-day event, scheduled to take place Saturday, August 14 at local comic shops. The event, which traditionally takes place on the first Saturday in May, will be celebrated in August in 2021 in the hopes that much of the uncertainty and disruption related to COVID-19 will have passed.
The titles were curated by over twenty comic shop retailers who make up the FCBD Selection Committee. This year’s comic book lineup features something for everyone: from superheroes, to movies and video games, to beloved franchises, and all-ages favorites. It takes
Cyberpunk 2077 eight or so hours to introduce you to its main character. That might seem deceptive. After all, the very first thing you do in CD Projekt Red’s ambitious, misguided, massive, controversial, and ultimately unfathomable new action-RPG is design the person you’ll be playing as, the rookie mercenary V. But while you can customize V’s appearance, their skillset, and even, in rough strokes, their background, what you can’t do with
are. And the reason for that is very simple: They’re nobody.
The Assassin s Creed franchise is one of my more beloved series of games. I was floored by the first game: the innovative gameplay, the incredible representation of the Middle East in the Crusader era, even the way plot interwove between past and present felt so fresh. It was such an exhilarating gaming experience. That first time you wind through a crowd, stalking your prey, clamor up to a vantage point and time your strike, and soar through the air and pull off an aerial takedown of a Templar target; there are few moments in all of video games that stand out so breathtakingly.
