KINGSTON, Jamaica- Alphansus Davis High were double champions at Saturday’s 47th staging of the Gibson/McCook Relays at the National Stadium, including winning the first ever Mixed 4x400m relays ever held in Jamaica. Alphansus Davis High also won the girls' 4x800m relay, while Jamaica College defended their boys’ 4x800m title. The anchor leg runner on the Alphansus Davis High team, chased and caught the two teams ahead of them to win.

The Michael Dyke-coached girls won Classes 1 and 2, St Jago High won Class 3 and Hydel High retained their Class 4 title, all four races ran during a light rain. The Edwin Allen team ran 45.68 seconds.
KINGSTON, Jamaica Kingston College and Edwin Allen ended the 47th Gibson/McCook Relays with wins in their respective 4x400m Open relays at the National Stadium on Saturday, while GC Foster won the men’s Open race. After placing second last year and winning just two relays events on Saturday, Kingston College ended another successful staging of the event, winning in 3:09.46 seconds, comfortably ahead of defending champions Jamaica College who ran 3:11.36 seconds.
