In 1992, in a tiny Off-Off-Broadway theater in New York City, a little comedy about AIDS opened:
Jeffrey by Paul Rudnick. The charming comedy about a gay actor/waiter in New York so terrified of AIDS that he gives up sex was an instant hit: It not only moved on to a successful commercial run in New York, but also had productions throughout the country and the world.
In 1995, the charming little play became a charming little film starring Steven Weber as Jeffrey and Michael T. Weiss as his HIV-positive love interest, Steve; it also featured Hollywood heavyweights Patrick Stewart, Sigourney Weaver, Olympia Dukakis, and Nathan Lane, as well as winks to the audience by the likes of Bryan Batt, Christine Baranski, Kathy Najimy, Robert Klein, Camryn Manheim, Victor Garber, and Kevin Nealon.

Frasier, the hit 1990s US comedy known for its sharp wit and as a dry send-up of the upper classes, is back with an exciting new revival.
Frasier revival is in the works, to be streamed on Paramount+ in the US. A date for the planned reboot has not yet been confirmed by the production company.
Kelsey Grammer, who played the eponymous snooty radio advice-show host, will reprise the role nearly two decades since the spin-off to legendary comedy
Cheers ended its 11-season run.
When
Frasier first premiered in 1993, many queer characters were treated by showrunners as a source of fear or problem-of-the-week, if they were portrayed at all.

Smyrna’s traditional Veterans Day ceremony had to be canceled due to coronavirus precautions, but the town is bringing attention to veterans at stores and restaurants.
Each year, the town honors seven veterans, selected by the mayor and each council person and then displays banners along streets including Market Street Plaza and Glenwood Avenue.
This year, the town is also displaying the banners at businesses, to give people the chance to see them up close.
Here are the veterans who are being honored this year:
