Dezeen Showroom:Tai Ping-owned brand Edward Fields has relaunched the 1952 Picnic Blanket I rug by renowned American industrial designer Raymond Loewy.
Picnic Blanket I forms part of the brand s ready-made Home collection of rugs, which is available in pre-defined sizes and colours.
The design is distinguished by a patchwork of plain and striped panels, interspersed with decorative, star-like motifs. Each panel is finished in earthy shades ranging from deep brown to off-white.
