I have been hearing from a lot of families and have been having thoughtful conversations about ways we can ensure safety while learning and decrease the amount of interrupted instructions. We hear your concerns. We are listening to parents, and staff, and students and want to ensure we deliver the highest forms of safety while learning for everyone. I just want to say that as we know, theres been a lot of intense pressure to balance the needing of getting kids back to school and also trying to ensure adequate safety measures, and its sometimes difficult to balance all of that at once. that s something that we heard through the folsom near term evaluation. this is a near term project, so we really want to be conscious of cost and how quickly we can roll this out. i think for the much longer term project that we ll hopefully be bringing to the board next year, we re thinking about those types of designs and those treatments. for curb cuts, i think it s easier if you re pulling in a parking space, that s one thing, but if we re talking about a bike lane, we just need to work effectively so that we don t create new conflicts, and people are alert today both activities in a way that they need to be. thank you. thank you. one thing, mr. 2kgatti is he. hopefully, he knows and you can confirm that you re that person that simply because the project has been approved by the board doesn t mean you give up on it and someone on staff will be able to work with him to make sure that his business can bet get the deliveries for him in a way that s safe for the cyclis

contribution rate with the employers. you can see it started with the 2014-15, where the employer contribution went from what it was for a very long time at 8.5% to 8.8%. there was a .63% increase. it cost us 1.37 million at the time of inrestricted dollars. you can see the increase of 1.85% all the way to 2020. at current salary levels. at our currently level of payroll, these increases in calstrs on a cumulative basis will cost the district $27 million in total. our health and pension costs also is a percentage of payroll. the black line is our pension costs. those are steadily increasing. in fact it s doubled over the ten years. this is the ten-year trend from 2008-09 to 17-18, the year we just closed the books, and it was 7.6% of payroll, and it s at 13.6 now. these are just our pension, calstrs and cfas costs combined. medical care is a percentage of payroll, although have declined interest the peak of 23%, again, if you look at it as a percentage of payroll, yes, that s
