Kota Kinabalu: Harvisanth Singh, a 14-year-old Sabahan studying at SMK Datuk Peter Mojuntin, Penampang, youth activist and certified scuba diver, received the Bronze Award of the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award for 2020.  Such awards have been recognised in over 130 countries across the world under The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation.  Harvisanth is known as a driven young man with a keen interest in environmental and plastic pollution issues, specifically on marine livings and ecosystem.  ADVERTISEMENT Beh Zeng Kang (pic), an inspiring youth leader who is a Gold Award Leader and mentor to Harvisanth, said his achievement has allowed him to witness the huge potential of young people in conservation and sustainable development in Sabah.
