Do you think there are other worthy venues for funding?

WHILST I wholeheartedly support the much-needed financial support Castle Howard, North York Moors Railway, Ryedale Folk Museum, Palace Cinema in Malton, Rural Arts North Yorkshire and several other worthy venues have received, reported on the front page article of the Gazette & Herald (April 7), three of these venues have already received quite a substantial sum from the Government’s Cultural scheme during the pandemic but I feel there are other equally worthy venues in need of financial support and are part of our heritage in North Yorkshire. Here are a few worthy venues I’m sure would be more than pleased with a little more financial support from the Government: The Kirk Theatre in Pickering, will it reopen, even though the Government have hinted theatres will reopen but obviously with social distancing in place? Beck Isle Museum, a lovely museum about rural life in Pickering and the mining era in Rosedale, Eden Camp Modern History, The Museum, Malton, Hungate Community Ce
