Siemens Energy receives 7.5 billion euros in state guarantees. Wind turbine manufacturer will receive a total of twelve billion euros. Breakthrough was achieved because the former parent company also got involved after tough resistance. The state, former parent Siemens and a consortium led by four banks will provide Siemens Energy with fresh guarantees. They are necessary for the company to be able to sign and process major contracts for the construction of power lines and converters for offshore wind farms in the coming years. The wind power division Siemens Gamesa has been in the red for years.
