MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - Easterseals Central Alabama cooked thousands of pounds of crawfish Saturday, all for a good cause.
This was the organizations 17th annual Autism Crawfish Boil. Money raised from Saturday will benefit autism services provided at Easterseals Central Alabama.
“Not only do they provide incredible services for families affected by autism, speech therapy, occupational therapy, HIPAA therapy, but even more importantly, they provide access to testing and timely diagnosis,” Crawfish Boil Committee Chair Stefania Jones said.

CHILLICOTHE – The Foundation for Appalachian Ohio and the Ross County Board of Developmental Disabilities (RCBDD), known locally as the Pioneer Center, are pleased to announce that six Ross County projects have received funding through the Landrum Endowment Fund. These grants will support projects related to improving the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities in Ross County.
The Landrum Endowment Fund’s second annual grant round was designed to support nonprofit and public organizations serving those with developmental disabilities in Ross County by working across the areas of community advocacy, inclusion, and employment, while also supporting parents and families.
