MARTINSBURG — Desmond Lamont Davis, 33, of Martinsburg, was sentenced to life in prison Thursday for his conviction of malicious assault and another five years for conspiracy.
LEETOWN— A traffic stop for speeding turned potentially deadly for Sgt. Vincent Tiong Wednesday evening. Tiong, with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department, initiated a traffic stop at approximately 5:26 p.m.

MARTINSBURG — A jury found 23-year-old Zeto Moise Ulrich Tape, of Hagerstown, guilty on several charges Thursday after a two-day trial related to an attack on another inmate at Eastern
