EAST LIVERPOOL The East Liverpool-Calcutta Area Garden Club met at the East Liverpool Country Club. Twenty-four members were present along with five prospective members.
They discussed the upcoming plant sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 8 at the East Liverpool Country Club. Plans are being made to make this year’s sale unique with special items to sell for Mother’s Day. Featured is a vertical sustainable garden and hand painted porch signs. The club also will feature annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetables and other plants.
Profits from the sale will be earmarked for a project at Thompson Park.
