Day 3 Action
Day 3 of the 2021 partypoker MILLIONS Online Main Event got underway just after 2 p.m. Eastern time today with 28 players returning.
Valentyn Kazantsev from Ukraine came into the day with the biggest stack, nearly 70M chips, with
Oliver Weis and Geci rounding out the top three. Kazantsev nearly made the final day, ending his run in 11th place for $54,542 while Weis ended in 15th place for $43,335. Geci, on the other hand, ran his stack all the way into the chip lead to end the day.
Also among the field were two members of Team partypoker,
Jaime Staples and Urbanovich. They both started the day around the middle of the chip counts, but things went differently from there.
It was moving day in the
2021 partypoker MILLIONS $5,300 Main Event, as all remaining 160 contenders out of 1,084 entries had locked up a portion of the
$5,420,000 prize pool. Ten levels of 30 minutes each were scheduled and once the final river showdown was completed, only 28 hopefuls still had chips at their disposal.
Among them are also two partypoker representatives in
Dzmitry Urbanovich and
The honor of being the Day 2 chip lead belongs to Ukraine s
Valentyn Kazantsev with 68,852,752 in chips. Little is known about Kazantsev as there is only one recorded live event cash to his name.

Twitch Streamer Jaime Staples Reaches Final 28 of Partypoker Millions Main Event

Jaime Staples, a long-time popular poker Twitch streamer, is among the final 28 players in the $5,300 Partypoker Millions Main Event. The Canadian poker pro has about half the chip leader’s stack (Valentyn Kazantsev). But he’s within striking distance of shipping his biggest score ever.

Staples isn’t the only Partypoker ambassador still alive in the $5 million guaranteed online tournament (prize pool ended up at $5.4 million). Dzmitry Urbanovich, one of the top high-stakes players in the world, advanced to Day 3 after a successful session on Monday. The Polish pro with over $6 million in live tournament cashes bagged 39,376,294 chips on Day 2, just over 9 million more than Staples. Kazantsev leads with 68,852,752.

When play resumes, the first level of the day will feature a small blind of 400,000, a big blind of 800,000, and have a running ante of 100,000. Level duration will be increased to 40 minutes and play will continue until there are nine players left for the final table which will play out on Wednesday, March 3 at 7:05 p.m. GMT.
