Stressing that Apple must adjust its conditions for access to the Dutch App Store for dating-app providers, the Dutch antitrust authority said that in the App Store, dating-app providers must also be able to use payment systems other than Apple s payment system.
Although Epic Games may not have prevailed in its lawsuit against Apple, it does appear to have resulted in regulatory scrutiny over Appleās restrictions
Apple has been told that its plans to allow Dutch dating apps to use third-party payment systems don't go far enough and that it could be forced to hand over 50 million euros as a result.
