However, Dr. Dulce Amor Miravite, city health officer, quickly clarified Tuesday that the close contact, who is a male, has already been cleared from Omicron infection. "We have identified one as close contact of a patient who was detected to have acquired the Omicron variant, but he's well and he's cleared," Miravite said. The Department of Health (DOH)-Central Office on Monday reported 11 imported and three local cases of the Omicron variant. Of the 11 cases, the DOH said nine are returning overseas Filipinos and none of the cases presented severe indications or had resulted in death as they were either asymptomatic or had mild symptoms. Dr. Dulce Amor Miravite, city health officer, said in a statement Saturday the free operation for cleft lip and cleft palate will be from January 4 to 8 at the Labuan Public Hospital in Barangay Labuan. "Doctors of Smile Train and Marikina St. Vincent General Hospital will visit Zamboanga City for a four-day operation of these patients (cleft lip and cleft palate)," Miravite said. Data from the City Health Office released Friday showed the daily number of individuals inoculated in the three-day vaccination are as follows: 21,077, December 20; 27,851, December 21; and, 21,478, December 22. The number of individuals vaccinated in the three-day NVD was three times more than the target of 20,112. The data showed that 16,833 of the 21,077 vaccinees rece
