Cal is unlikely to have a player taken in the first two rounds of the NFL Draft for the fifth straight year. But Cal has had a lot of players taken high in past NFL drafts, which prompts the question: What years did Cal have the best showings in NFL drafts?
We ranked the Bears’ top 15 “performances” in NFL draft history, combining the number of Golden Bears players drafted in a given year with the round players were taken to compile our subjective list.

The problem with grading a draft after the draft? It s got no balls!
You know what I mean. Second-guess the hard work of others and with full hindsight of who was available when and how long they stayed available.
Also, bias and ego enter into it. Pete Prisco and national Cowboys harlot Gil Brandt will always give the Packers and Cowboys a notch or more higher grades and the move the Vikings an extra notch down. Prisco wants to please as many followers as possible and the Cowboys and Packers have the most fans. Brandt, quite simply, is in the employ of the Cowboys as a media bullhorn for them. He is literally paid by them! He is paid PR disguised as an objective analyst.
