The Dandy Warhols celebrate their twentieth anniversary this year, having formed in 1994. Founder members Courtney Taylor-Taylor (guitars/vocals) and Peter Holmstrom (guitars) started the band in their native Portland during the latter part of that year, with keyboard player Zia McCabe joining soon after. Current drummer Brent DeBoer became a Dandy Warhol shortly after the release of second album
