Alexander Wolfe issued the following statement after being released by WWE on Wednesday.
His brief statement read: Just for the record: My WWE contract will expire on June 15th. That means I’m a free agent on June 16th. I have a lot in my head right now so let’s keep it short: Thank you @WWENXT @WWE for 6 year. Bye bye.
Wolfe was among six wrestlers and two referees to be let go from the company.

Vanessa Borne, who was released from WWE on Wednesday, issued a statement on Twitter:
“Today I got the call that I will no longer be a WWE superstar, which came as quite a shock to me considering all the work I’ve done these past 18 months,” Borne said. “I want to thank the WWE for the opportunity these past five years, it’s been a fun ride. I also want to give a shout out to all the people and fans who have supported me throughout my wrestling career, your kind words never went unnoticed. To all of the haters and Twitter trolls, I want to thank you guys as well. You really motivated me and lit a fire within me. Just kidding. You people f suck. Be nice. It shouldn’t be that hard to be a decent human being to someone you don’t even know.”

AEW have just revealed that AEW Dynamite will be changing channels from January 2022, moving from TNT to TBS. In the same announcement, they also revealed that a new one-hour show, AEW: Rampage, will debut on August 13th. LOS ANGELES (May 19, 2021) – The All Elite Wrestling (AEW) franchise will grow its footprint with a move of “AEW: Dynamite” to TBS in January 2022.
Until then, presence on TNT remains robust in 2021 with the addition of the new hour-long series “AEW: Rampage.” Debuting on August 13 at 10 p.m. ET, “AEW: Rampage” is a third hour of high-octane wrestling featuring the world renowned stars of AEW. In addition, TNT will debut four new professional wrestling specials annually, continuing to garner and grow AEW’s audience until the move to TBS in 2022.

Insider wrestling source @WrestleVotes is reporting on Twitter that FOX, the home of Friday Night SmackDown is pushing the company for the return of live crowds. Heard from a very reliable source that FOX has privately pushed for a return to live crowds over the past few weeks, actively seeking updates on timeframes, etc. They’d like their billion dollar investment on the same playing field as the MLB, NBA & others.
