50 tourists eagerly participated in boat races at Ooty lake as part of the summer festival. The event included various categories like men-doubles, women-doubles, couples, and hand rowing. The boat races were inaugurated by Nilgiris collector M Aruna and prizes were distributed to the winners. The summer festival at the boat house will continue for three days.
