PUTRAJAYA: The sale of two cosmetic products of the brand name Karisma, namely its Turmeric Booster Cream and Flashhskinzz Treatment Cream, are no longer allowed in Malaysia as they are found to contain mercury, which is a scheduled poison, says Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

Dengue cases dropped by almost 18% last week

KUALA LUMPUR: The number of dengue fever cases in the 4th epidemiological week this year (Jan 22-28) dropped by 17.6% to 1,910 cases from 2,319 cases the previous week, with one fatality recorded.

Dengue cases up 13.6 per cent last week, says Health DG

PUTRAJAYA: The number of dengue cases in the second Epidemiological Week of 2023 (ME2/23) from Jan 8 to 14 increased by 301 cases, or 13.6 per cent to 2,520 cases compared to 2,219 cases in the previous week.
