Glenwood Pool set to open Memorial Day weekend Kristin Terry, Downtown Development Director Special to McDonough County Voice, USA TODAY NETWORK The City of Macomb and McDonough County YMCA are pleased to announce the opening of Glenwood pool, located at 1400 N. Randolph Street in Macomb, IL. Glenwood Pool will open Saturday, May 29, 2021 12:00PM to 7 p.m. As we continue to make improvements for our community and visitors a new slide has been installed for all to enjoy at Glenwood pool. Scheduled hours of operation are Monday through Saturday 12:00PM to 7:00PM and Sundays 12:00PM-6:00PM. The following opening guidelines will be followed for the safety and convenience of guests: the pool will not open if temperature is not predicted to be 70 degrees or higher at the time of opening and the pool will be cleared and activities suspended when lightening or thunder is heard/seen. Pool activities will be suspended until 30 minutes after the last thunder is heard or lightening is seen.

Mr. Sweeper, located at 204 N. Lafayette Street, has been locally owned and operated by Lowell and Janet Armstrong since 1986. Mr. Sweeper repairs most brands, sells new and refurbished vacuums and has all the cleaning accessories and products that you need right here in Historic Downtown Macomb. “Thank you for your 35 years commitment to Downtown Macomb,” stated Downtown Development Director, Kristin Terry. RALEIGH, N.C., May 06, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) A Goldsboro non-profit focusing on addressing the lack of affordable housing for a growing middle-income workforce has received a Mission Development Grant of $40,000 from the SECU Foundation. The organization, Downtown Goldsboro Development Corporation (DGDC), requested assistance to help build organizational capacity in the areas of strategic planning, fundraising, and human resource needs to achieve their goal. DGDC will work together with Communities, Inc., a non-profit formed by the Corporation in 2019, to facilitate plans developed during the capacity build
