The New Hampshire state library is the oldest state library in the country. It dates to 1717. Location in at this concord since 1896, when we built the state library and Supreme Court building. The purpose of the state library is to provide information to the citizens of the state. Clearly, that means we have to elect materials that have the materialsn collect that have the information, and we have to keep that information up to date and make that available to citizens in a number of ways. The traditional materials we have that date back to 1718 and the latest things we have, reports from state agencies, which are in digital format and available on our website.
