none of it confirmed by police yet. but we ll take a closer listen to this press conference here. again, very, very brief. i m not sure how much information police are really willing to share but we ll get back to you in a minute. flag us down. we ll come back to you when you have more information. tom, any background on the terror threat in particular there as it relates to spain? sure. so, craig, u.s. officials have been worried about the terror threat in europe and in particular spain has continued to rise up on the list of places that they ve been concerned about. one of the reasons we know this is a terrorist attack but don t know where the suspects are from. officials here are concerned about the rising threat of islamic extremists, whether they be isis or al qaeda coming out of northern africa. it s a short sail away from spain and from the eastern side of spain which is where barcelona is. they will clue into where these people are from and are they
saying judges are blindably signing no knocks when in the past judges would say you don t need to do a no knock. just do a warrant. do a search. knock on the door. if they don t open it, take the door down, but these no knocks have resulted in a great deal of abuse, and whether it s paul manafort or not, it should concern people. i don t think there was any justification to do a no knock as opposed to a normal warrant. the context is a capitol hill investigation. this came the day after he had gone to the committees with some information, but there was a big chuck grassley was angry with now manafort was or wasn t being forthcoming. there was a real sense he was not giving them everything available to him. they subpoenaed him. they said we ll drop the subpoena if you come this far on our evidence. that s when the fbi went in and say we clearly need access to this information because you re not giving it up. we re hearing different things.
