for tuesday, june 4th, 2013. good morning. good to be with you. i m anne-marie green. we begin with the investigation into the irs. three separate congressional committees and the justice department are looking into whether the agency illegally targeted conservative groups. today members of those groups testify on capitol hill and an inspector general s report will be released outlining spending controversies. all that after the acting director of the irs told lawmakers on monday that americans have lost trust in the agency. susan mcginnis is in washington. susan, good morning. reporter: good morning. today a house committee will hear from small government groups who claim the irs put them under extra scrutiny but now the agency is under some scrutiny in another scandal. allegations of excessive spending by the irs on itself. videos like this one produced for the irs were shown at agency conferences from 2010 to 2012 with taxpayers picking up the tab. an inspector general
