After such a long and exhausting journey, it’s almost hard to believe that the launch of Zack Snyder’s Justice League (also known as simply The Snyder Cut) is finally upon us.

Willed into existence by a tireless campaign by Snyder fans that operated on social media over a period of three years, the unique project originates from the backlash to 2017’s critically panned DC Comics crossover movie.
Snyder left the project midway through filming due to a family tragedy and was replaced by Joss Whedon, who carried out reshoots which are thought to have fundamentally altered the initial vision.
I don t think anything is going to happen right away, but Jim and I talked about it quite a bit. And talked a lot about maybe doing a book, or a comic book down the road to kind of finish this, said Snyder of the possible project. We haven t locked anything yet.
According to Snyder, his potential series would offer some backstory to the Knightmare sequence featured in
Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice, which saw Bruce Wayne receive a glimpse of a desolate, dystopian future ruled by Darkseid, where Superman has an army and doesn t hesitate to use his heat vision against humans.
