BALIK PULAU, July 10 Police detained three men, believed to have tortured a dog to death at Kampung Teluk Tempoyak, Batu Maung here after a video of the incident went viral.
A purported video of the incident that happened on Sunday surfaced on social media in which a group of people can be seen beating up the stray dog with sticks.
Pitbull dogs are known for their aggression, and their attacks can cause severe injuries or even fatalities. In many instances, the victims are children or senior citizens who are unable to defend themselves against the dog's aggression.
