2021年4月，习近平总书记来到漓江，从杨堤码头登船，顺江而下。一江碧水，两岸青山，展现出漓江治理重生之后的景象。

曾几何时，污水排入、非法采砂、网箱养鱼等，让漓江“失绿”，甲天下的山水遭受破坏。如今，通过全面“治乱、治水、治山、治本”，漓江生态环境得到改善，流域森林覆盖率超过80%，干流水质常年保持Ⅱ类标准。
“你们在这里工作，最重要的是要呵护好这里的美丽山水，这是大自然赐予中华民族的一块宝地，一定要保护好，这是第一位的。”一路上，习近平总书记反复叮嘱当地负责同志。
