A North Texas teenager who garnered support from celebrities after her arrest in a murder case has been indicted on two felony charges.
A Dallas County grand jury handed up indictments of Zephaniah Renee “Zephi” Trevino on Wednesday on charges of murder and aggravated robbery.
Trevino is accused of taking part in the fatal robbery of Carlos Morillo on Aug. 3, 2019, along with Philip Junior Aguilera Baldenegro and Jesse Martinez, both 20. She was 16 at the time, and the men were 18.
