Srinagar: On National Anti-Terrorism Day which is being observed every year on May 21, the respective District Administrations of all the districts of Kashmir today organised simple but impressive functions to mark the day.
The day is being observed to commemorate the death anniversary of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi who was killed in a suicide attack in Tamil Nadu in 1991.
On the occasion the respective Deputy Commissioners of all the districts read out the pledge while the audience too participated and pledged to oppose with strength, all forms of terrorism and violence.
At Srinagar: On the eve of Anti-Terrorism Day, a pledge taking ceremony was held at Banquet Hall Srinagar in which participants took the Anti-Terrorism Pledge and solemnly expressed their strong faith in Indias tradition of non-violence and tolerance exuded their firm commitment to oppose with all strength all forms of terrorism and violence.

Anantnag: The Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Recruitment Board (JKSSRB) and District Administration Anantnag today conducted a joint training programme for Superintendents, Centre Coordinators and Invigilators deployed for the forthcoming Class-IV Examinations at Dak Bungalow Khanabal, here.
More than 29000 aspirants are are scheduled to appear in the exam at 23 different centres in the district on 27, 28 Feb, and 01 march 2021.
During the training session, the deployed staff was urged to follow all rules and regulations and ensure that the candidates do not face any issues. Do’s and Don’ts associated with the exam process were elaborated thoroughly and stress was laid upon transparent and fair conduct of the exams.

The ADC directed the concerned officers to ensure that all arrangements including proper space and accommodation facilities inside examination halls, provision of vehicles and manpower for the receipt and dispatch of examination material, security in and around strong room and examination centres, videography of examination centres besides proper sanitization of the centres are put in place for smooth and successful conduct of the examinations.
He also ensured full cooperation from District Administration in this regard.
Among others, the meeting was attended by ASP, DTO, CEO, Tehsildars Anantnag & Mattan, DIO, CDPO HQ, Heads of Institutions notified as examinations centres and other concerned officials.
