MyaKay Bartman named Lions Club Citizen of the Month | News, Sports, Jobs

MyaKay Bartman JERSEY SHORE The Jersey Shore Lions’ Club Citizen of the Month for April is MyaKay Hope Bartman, daughter of Melinda and Rod Bartman of Jersey Shore. MyaKay’s activities include Debate Team, Prom committee, one year; Field Hockey, Relay for Life, Science Olympiad, Cross Country, FBLA, Key Club and Renaissance Club, two years; Chorus, three years, and track, four years. MyaKay has served as the Track and Field team captain during her 9th and 10th grade years, the Cross Country team captain during her senior year, and she is also the president of the Renaissance Club. Outside of school, MyaKay is involved with the Transform Jersey Shore Program, Stone Farmhouse Cafe, Gamble Farm Inn/Park Pizza, Waltz Creamery, and her Church Outreach Program.

Fairfield Lions Student of the Month

Each month the Fairfield Lions Club honors a senior as the Student of the Month. Students are nominated by the faculty and selected for demonstrating self-discipline, a commitment to health, respect for others, compassion, good judgment, responsibility, honesty, scholarship, trustworthiness and involvement. Tyler Richardson was chosen by the Fairfield Lions Club as the Student of the Month for April. Richardson is the son of Rick and Tammy Richardson of Fairfield. During his high school career Richardson has been involved in the following school activities: soccer, first through 12th grades; track, 9; National Honors Society, 11-12; Foreign Language Club, 11-12; student council, 10-12; and tutoring, 11-12.

HUNTER KELLEY JERSEY SHORE The Jersey Shore Lions’ Club Citizen of the Month for February is Hunter Ross Kelley, son of Heather and Harry Kelley of Linden. Hunter’s activities include indoor track and Key Club, one year; IT Club, two years; baseball, Constitutional Convention, Model UN, Class treasurer, cross country, three years; FBLA, National English Honor Society. Hunter has served as the Class Treasurer for the class of 2021 during his 10th and 11th grade years, and is currently serving as Class Treasurer during his senior year. He is also the Treasurer for the Key Club and Treasurer for the National English Honor Society.
