State Representative Bob Bezotte held his first online office hours which focused largely on vaccines.
The Marion Township Republican was joined by Livingston County Health Department Director Diane McCormick and Medical Director Dr. Juan Marquez, Friday afternoon. Bezotte fielded several questions from constituents, many of which were concerned about all-things COVID vaccine.
He said heâs taken dozens and dozens of calls from frustrated seniors, while expressing his own frustration at the CDCâs Social Vulnerability Index that the state has begun using to determine allocation numbers. He pointed to being put in the same high-risk MI Safe Start District with Oakland, Wayne and Macomb counties last year. Bezotte said they didnât agree with it, but went along, with it affecting small businesses and schools.
