NEWTON FALLS If her love of literature had not won out, Rachel Hrbolich might have become a lawyer or a psychologist instead of spending the past 26 years in various positions at the Catholic Diocese of Youngstown.
Hrbolich, 50, has lived in Newton Falls for 44 years. Her parents are Frank and Elizabeth Hrbolich high school sweethearts who have been married for 51 years. She has a younger sister, Jenny Russ.

As Nigerian Muslims join their counterparts all over the world to observe this year’s Ramadan fast, they have been urged to use the fasting period and the Holy month of Ramadan to pray for peace, progress, unity and development of Nigeria.
The Holy month has also been described as a renewed opportunity for the faithful to seek God’s forgiveness and recommit to the ideals of Islam.
Tribune Online reports that the Sultan of Sokoto, Sultan Sa’ad Abubakar III declared Tuesday, April 13, 2021, as the first day of the Holy month of Ramadan following the sighting of the crescent moon in almost every part of the country earlier on Monday.

(AFRICAN EXAMINER) – The Catholic Diocese of Oyo has urged the Muslim faithful in Nigeria to embrace and pray for peace, justice, and an end to social vices in the country as they begin Ramadan fast.
The church made the call in a statement on Tuesday.
It was signed jointly by the Catholic Bishop of Oyo Diocese, Emmanuel Badejo, and Joseph Ogundipe, the Diocesan Director, Inter-Religious Dialogue (IRD).
The clerics said people should be concerned about the current siege on parts of the country through violent kidnapping, rape, and killing of women, farmers, and even ordinary citizens while going about their lawful duties.
Pupils had a special guest for the opening of their new school in Dalton in January 1970. The Management of the St. Anthony s Hospital-Dzodze in consultation with the Diocesan Director of Health Services, the Municipal Director of Health Services and other key stakeholders wish to announce to the General Public that healthcare services at the Hospital have been suspended partially with immediate effect. The decision is part of measures to assure our clients of quality at the hospital and also strengthen the system towards handling of COVID-19 patients. The action is also necessitated by the surge in COVID-19 cases within the Ketu-North Municipality. Some of the positive cases have accessed the hospital and also received treatment during the periods.
