When the pandemic hit last March, Monita Chapman phoned her dad in Toronto for some advice.
“He had owned a hotel in Toronto during the time of SARS, so when things started happening fast, I called him,” recounts Chapman, owner of Edmonton-based meal preparation service Simply Supper. “He said, ‘Monita, this is something that’s going to be here for awhile. Change your business model and stick with it.’”
