Idealliance Members Approve Merger with PRINTING United Alliance

PRINTING United Alliance and Idealliance announced the intent to merge the two organizations earlier in January. The proposed merger was approved unanimously by each Board of Directors to be followed by consideration of Idealliance members at a meeting of active members today, in accordance with Idealliance Bylaws. Idealliance Members overwhelmingly approved the Plan of Merger with 96% voting in favor which serves as the final step to effectuate the merger.

Printing United Alliance (Fairfax, Virginia) and Idealliance (Alexandria, Virginia) have announced their intention to merge the two key industry organizations into one after the board of directors at each company unanimously voted in favour of the merger. Last year, SGIA and PIA officially merged to become Printing United Alliance – the largest, most comprehensive printing and graphic arts association in the U.S. This new venture with Idealliance will further support the association’s investment into the long-term success of the U.S. printing industry. The proposed merger, which was approved by Idealliance’s Board of Directors yesterday, will be finalized and made official on March 1, 2021.
