NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KTRE) - As the COVID-19 vaccine helps tame the pandemic’s effect on people’s lives, more diners are eating out, but probably not enough to make up the revenue loss some establishments had last year. Business advisors are letting eateries know about new grants which may help keep doors open.
At the Angelina College Small Business Development Center, director Dianne Amerine is familiar with SBA.gov, where East Texas hospitality businesses can find financial help.
The Small Business Development Center at Angelina College is informing hospitality businesses that more money will be available through the American Rescue Plan Act.

NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KTRE) - Monday smaller businesses that did not receive a Payroll Protection Program loan the first time around could begin applying. On Wednesday those that did receive one of the original loans can begin the process. Temple Rodriguez at Greer’s in Nacogdoches is ready to get started.
“We were very excited that there was a second round. It should be easier for us to apply this time, now that we know what they need for each application. And so, we’ve got the paperwork together and we’re ready to apply.”
