By the Grace of God,
Olga Day went to be with our Lord on April 29, 2022 at 7:50 p.m. She
was surrounded by her loved ones as she took her last breath. She
patiently waited for two of her sisters to arrive to say their last
goodbyes. Olga battled with Parkinson’s for many years.
A new inquest into the Whiskey Au Go Go nightclub fire began on Monday
It heard from family members of those who died in the 1973 arson attack
Coroner Terry Ryan will try to find the truth of who set the fire
James Finch and John Stuart were convicted and sentenced to life for the crime
But there it has long been thought that others were involved and escaped justice
15 people died in the fire which was then Australia s worst-ever mass murder
