Roberts named tech director for Alton schools

ALTON During a special board meeting on Tuesday, the Alton School District appointed Chris Roberts as Director of Technology.
Roberts, who previously worked for Mattoon School District, expressed excitement for taking this position when it was available.
“It just sounded like a great fit,” he said. “I found out more about Alton and I’m really excited about being able to help out.”
Roberts graduated with a bachelor’s of science in Computer Information Systems from DeVry Institute of Technology in Lombard in 1991. He began his career as Director of Technology at Burbank School District 1997-1999.
