The "Two O'Clock Rock" burglar is accused of targeting businesses during the early morning hours, generally between 2 and 4 a.m. The suspect gains entry by throwing a rock through the front glass door and, once inside, removes cash from the register.
Police gave the suspect the moniker for his habit of allegedly leaving rocks outside businesses he plans to rob and for tending to strike in the early morning.

NORTHRIDGE (CNS) - Police today released surveillance footage and asked for the public s help in identifying a suspect wanted for shooting a person in the chest during an attempted carjacking in Northridge.
Officers were called about 4:35 p.m. Feb. 2 to the 8500 block of Reseda Boulevard on a report of shots fired and found the unnamed victim, who was hospitalized in stable condition, police said.
The suspect was described by police as 25 to 30 years old, 5 feet tall and 160 pounds, with black hair. He was wearing a plaid long-sleeve brown shirt, dark pants and black shoes that day.
