A 54-year-old man who broke a door while assaulting a security officer at Domino’s Pizza was put on probation yesterday for six months. The incident occurred after the man became upset that the pizza chain did not have the toppings he wanted and security tried to escort him out.
Daniel Pyfrom was arrested after he caused $513.50 worth of damage to the door of Domino’s Pizza in the Harbour Bay Plaza on December 24. The prosecution said the accused committed the act after hitting the pizza place’s security guard with a piece of wood.
The court was told that on the day in question, Pyfrom came in and got into an argument with the manager. The manager asked the store’s security officer to escort him out. The prosecution said Pyfrom resisted which caused the guard to use force to remove him.
