focussed and motivated to keep going on, so that s what you do. welcome to isp, meditation segment. darren bailey, an inmate with a violent past, is hoping to find focus and motivation through meditation. now, this is a meditation called releasing of the mind. bailey was recently transferred from the prison s intensive detention unit to the residential treatment unit because the psychological staff believe he is an inmate determined to change his disruptive behavior. we all need to meditate, just clear our mind, clear our thoughts, clear our systems. push all that poison out of you, inhale fresh breath. once feared by staff and inmates alike, bailey has shown signs that his hair-trigger temper is subsiding. he had a significant challenge.

my cell, you know, handcuffed, police around him. what do you say? what do you say to somebody that they re getting ready to kill? that you care for and is your friend? you can t say i couldn t say nothing. good luck? i ll see you around? you know? i ve been through eight executions, you know? some guys commit suicide, you know, other guys die of old age and natural causes. man, it s all bad. coming up this detention unit was a particularly scary place. it housed the worst of the worst inmates. an inmate with a retation for violence makes hisase for moving out of segregation. like i said, i want my life back. i want control of my life back. i ain t going to do that. aah! .i would have said you were crazy. but so began the year of me. i discovered the true meaning of paperless discounts. and the indescribable rush of saving drivers an average of $620. why does fear feel so good?
