Six days into July and Wilmington sees its sixth shooting victim of the month, continuing a shooting spike that could be Delaware s worst in years.
Wilmington Police were at an area hospital Tuesday night after a 19-year-old man arrived to the emergency room with a gunshot wound. Police did not provide a medical condition Tuesday, other than to say the man was stable.
Police provided few details about the incident other than to say it occurred about 8 p.m. in the 1300 block of Read St. near the city s Hedgeville community.
