ROAD users have been asked by Swindon Borough Council to take part in an eight-week Road Safety consultation up until the end of this month.

MORE roadworks woe is on the way for Swindon motorists. It was announced on Monday that the White Hart roundabout – one of the town s busiest junctions – will be shutting completely for three months between August and November. The unscheduled work to keep the road stable will add £2.6m to the cost of Swindon Borough Council s £30m project. It comes on top of a number of other incomplete or overrunning road schemes on key routes around the town, including Mead Way, the Moonrakers junction and Oxford Road.
