The summer heatwave has taken hold in Estonia, and with it comes an increased need for drinking water. At the start of June, Estonian water supplier AS Tallinna Vesi installed a series of public water taps in Tallinn, providing free drinking water for thirsty city dwellers until the end of September.
The concept of a new municipal public toilet facility was unveiled in Tallinn's Männi Park on Thursday, where city officials stressed that gradually increasing the share of permanent public toilet facilities is a priority for the City of Tallinn.
Following the rapid deterioration of the red paint used to paint bike lanes and bike paths in the city center last fall, the City of Tallinn has opted to repaint bike lanes in the city center, paying special care to the most dangerous parts thereof.
