The Enugu State Government has been accused of refusing to release the corpse of Bonaventure Odoh, one of the Ogbete Main Market traders killed by security operatives during a protest.  Odoh's family said his burial had been delayed by the refusal of the government to release his corpse to them.

Enugu Government, Police Command Release Corpse Of Ogbete Trader Killed During Protest To Family For Burial After SaharaReporters' Story

The Enugu State Government through the state police command has finally released to the family the corpse of Bonaventure Odoh, one of the Ogbete Main Market traders killed by security operatives during a protest. A family source told SaharaReporters that the corpse was released on Monday afternoon. SaharaReporters earlier reported that the family of the trader lamented the refusal of the state government to release his corpse. The family said his burial had been delayed by the refusal of the government to release his corpse to them.
