Gasoline stations receiving new operating license must have charging units to recharge EVs

KATHMANDU, Jan 4: The gasoline stations will now have to maintain charging ports for electric vehicles mandatorily in order to operate their businesses. According to the new provision introduced by the government, the existing fuel stations will have to install charging units while renewing their license while the new stations will have to abide by the rule while acquiring their license.

Nepal imports smartphones worth Rs 13.6 billion in five months

KATHMANDU, Dec 26: Nepal has imported smartphones worth around Rs 13.6 billion in the first five months of the current Fiscal Year (FY). The Department of Customs (DoC) has unveiled data revealing that smartphones worth Rs 13.6 billion were imported into Nepal in the first five months of the fiscal year 2023/24.

TIA upgrades CCTV footage storage capacity to 61 days
