AkinovA, an electronic marketplace for the transfer and trading of re/insurance risks, has been granted the first Insurance Marketplace Provider licence by Bermuda’s financial services regulator BMA - making it the first new regulated insurance marketplace since the formation of Lloyd’s of London in 1871.

After Trump supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol yesterday, resulting in four deaths and several injuries, Congress reconvened and cemented Joe Biden’s victory in the presidential race. WAMC took to the streets today to speak with residents across the Northeast about how the events unfolded.
Raymond White, speaking to WAMC Thursday morning in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, says he couldn’t believe that the Capitol had been breached.
“It’s just crazy to me,” White said. “It’s still shocking, honestly. I’m still in awe that it even happened at all. It’s really scary. It’s really scary, the fact that that could even happen.”

freedom. but was he a, today he was not a conservative. would he have been a , a liberal? yes. in my sense. in your sense? not in the corrupted sense of today. but what s confusing as you watch today s people who embrace him, you have the jefferson-jackson dinners every year for the democratic party. and lincoln is embraced by both sides. what was abraham lincoln? he s much more difficult to characterize, because his role in our history had to do with the civil war. and that s not something to be characterized in terms of, of socialist or liberal or conservative. thomas jefferson a democrat as we know the democratic party today? no. what would he be today? he would be a libertarian. a member of the libertarian party? not necessarily. i m a libertarian in philosophy. but i m a member as i say, as i say, i m a libertarian, with a small l, and a republican with a capital r. now you supported and were close to barry goldwater. yes, i was.
