NILES Sara M. Mauro, 91, formerly of Niles, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 4, 2021, to join her daughter in a long-awaited hug and kiss.
Along with Evonne, Sara, born Nov. 22, 1929, went on for a reunion with her parents; her five brothers and sisters; her granddaughter, Jacquelyn; and many other friends and family that she has not seen in a long time. Once she has hugged all of those that she missed terribly over the years, she will be spending her time socializing, dancing, gardening, rooting for her beloved Cleveland Browns and reading to her heart’s content.
“We want to let her know that she did a great job and wish her a safe journey. We will remember her smile, her warmth, her energy, her dry sense of humor but mostly her love for family and friends. She worked very hard all her life and she made a difference in the lives of many.”
